T first organized SideWalk University in 1975 as a community based consulting organization which grew into a strategy and organizing agency. Now it provides services such as workshops and lectures for the community and teaches the employees and members of organizations such as the Federal, State, County, and City Government agencies, churches, and school districts about gangs.

SideWalk University is in the business of taking the positive message of hope back where it's needed, to the streets. The knowledge of how to implement change in the minds and the actions of gang members and in members of the community at large comes from the real life experiences of Mr. T Rodgers. T Rodgers built his Los Angeles nation one member at a time. Now he wants to undo the damage and stop gang violence the same way, by getting through to people one human at a time. His unique transformation from nation leader to community advocate is based upon years of experience in the heart of the gang lifestyle.

Law Enforcement/ Prisons: We were the first gang members to directly train police officers and prison gaurds in how to deal with gang violence. We can train your organization too. We tailor our presentations to fit your situation and teach in classes of 30 or less. We offer group and individual tuition schedules for our programs. Schools: We can provide you with basic gang information, identification, awareness for gangs in your community including signs, colors, and symbols. We can teach you about the signs and symptoms of gangs, and the solutions and prevention techniques for gang problems by giving you a guide to safe schools. We tailor our presentation to fit your deadlines. Any size group costs $750 not including travel.

Attorneys: We can provide you with detailed research and consultation on your defendant's case. We can predicate acts of the gang, provide a summary of mental trends, an analysis of tatoos, review evidence, and give our opinion on whether the defendant is still gang-banging and can be classified in your state as part of a criminal street gang. We put honesty, professionality, and integrity first, however our opinions depend on the information you provide.

Movie & Documentary Producers: We have done many major motion pictures. We can assist you with the accuracy and the history you need to depict gangs realistically.

-Resources & Community:
T and SWU offer a 6-8 week course in Survival Education for Life and Family (S.E.L.F.) Tuition for the full course is $500 per person, which includes booklet, information packets, individual evaluation and certificate. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a membership for life; discounts are available for larger groups.
NOTE: A non-refundable 50% deposit it required and due before the event and the balance is due upon completion. All video tapping must be authorized prior to the event. A portion of all income is always given back to the community. When T. encounters a person, a family or a program in need. EVERYTHING IS NEGOTIABLE.
Some of what the course has to offer includes individual evaluations, information packets, motivational cards, and after care and guidance for life. S.E.L.F. attacks a wide range of issues from gang violence and crime, to domestic abuse, to modern day slavery. T gives a portion of the proceeds back to the community aside from the tremendous impact his positive philosophy provides in itself. You may also donate to the scholarship fund, in which case students will be granted a scholarship for the course in your name. Whether you would like to donate time or money, take the course for informational purposes, or provide the course to youth in need, S.E.L.F. is one of the most valuable tools today in the fight against gang violence.

-Seminars, Lectures, etc:
T has the experience of a substantial number of major interviews, lectures, seminars, and workshops at Universities, S.E.L.F functions, High Schools, police departments, news media, and community organizations. He is available for booking. All fees negotiable. 50% deposit required before scheduled events. Travel expenses and teaching supplies to be provided by the client. Usually runs from $750-$3000 a day depending upon SWU's level of involvement in the planning and execution of your Seminar, Lecture, or Discussion.

Staff Training: $1,500
Per Question: $5.00
Per Hour: $150.00
Panel Discussions: $750 per day
Workshop: $1,000
Seminar: $3,500 per day
Consultant: $5,000 per week
All travel expense and accommodations are to be paid by the client. The client is asked to provide supplies and equipment such as flip chart, blackboard, video and audio player. EVERYTHING IS NEGOTIABLE.
